Govt Post Graduate Girls College Saidu Sharif, Swat

Post Graduate Girl&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;rsquo;s College Saidu Sharif was established in 1972 and was temporarily housed in the upper story of G.G.H.S Saidu Sharif. The institution was shifted to its present building in 1988. Home Economics and Computer Science sections are recent addition. Efforts are being made to equip the institution with modern facilities and to start other new and important subjects in the collage thereby improving the education standards both quantitatively and qualitatively.&amp;amp;amp;amp;lt;/p&amp;amp;amp;amp;gt; &amp;amp;amp;amp;lt;p style=&amp;amp;amp;amp;quot;text-align:justify&amp;amp;amp;amp;quot;&amp;amp;amp;amp;gt;GPGG College is situated in a historical area of Saidu Sharif Swat where other historical builldings are also located like museum, Govt Girls High School, Central hospital and GPG Jahanzeb College.&amp;amp;amp;amp;lt;/p&amp;amp;amp;amp;gt; &amp;amp;amp;amp;lt;p style=&amp;amp;amp;amp;quot;text-align:justify&amp;amp;amp;amp;quot;&amp;amp;amp;amp;gt;The valley of Swat is famous for its historical heritage and peaceful atmosphere. Education was given high priority by the farmer ruler wali e Swat Mian Gul Jahanzeb Khan of Swat, which is evident from the existence of so many schools in the area and the magnificent building of Jehanzeb College and its adjacent college colony for teachers.&amp;amp;amp;amp;lt;/p&amp;amp;amp;amp;gt; &amp;amp;amp;amp;lt;p style=&amp;amp;amp;amp;quot;text-align:justify&amp;amp;amp;amp;quot;&amp;amp;amp;amp;gt;He was also interested in the introduction of quality education for female.
