Govt. Post Graduate College Miran Shah, North Waziristan

The Government Post Graduate College Miran Shah for boys is situated in the mountain area (Expect) N.W.TD of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It was founded in 1964. It established itself as an esteemed institution of N.W.TD Capital Territory.

For the last 55 years, this institution has been playing its vital role in shaping and grooming the future architects of nation. Every year, it displays excellent results in curricular, co-curricular activities at BISE Bannu and UST-Bannu level which makes it luminous among other institutions functioning under KPK. The institution is imparting education in different disciplines. At Intermediate level the subject combinations of Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, Computer Science and Humanities are offered. The college has been granted the privilege by the authorities to lunch B.A and B.Sc programmes in the subject of Science and Humanities in1973. In December 2002, the college launch the Computer Science for F.A/ F.Sc and B.A/ B.Sc.

In this way, this college has become a leading postgraduate institution in the locality offering opportunity of admission to the aspiring students for graduation. From 2006 the college arises the top opportunity of Post Graduate programmes. The college constructed on 150 kanal. Residential colony for professors contains 11 bungalows, and three bachelor hostel for teaching faculty
