<p>Mansehra District is located at the cistern border of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. The District of Mansehra has been blessed with breathtaking scenery. Some of Mansehra main features are mountain ranges, plains, valleys, numerous lakes and rivers. Mansehra city is the district head quarter of Mansehra district in Hazara Division. The area has tall trees, high mountains, plains beautiful valley and lakes. There are three beautiful lakes in Mansehra District Named: lalusar, Dudupat sar&amp;amp;amp;amp;&amp;amp;amp;nbsp;Saiful-Maluk sar. In summer when the water of these lakes reflect like a mirror a large number of visitors from different areas of the country come to watch the enchanting views of Mansehra has a great educational value. First Primary School in Mansehra District was established in village Behali 1872 in Baffa 1879 and subsequently in Mansehra town in 1892. Hazara University is the major symbol of education in Mansehra. Government Girls Degree College Chitti Dheri Mansehra for women was established in 2006. At the threshold of new millennium individuals and organization are affronting new demands and challenges. To cope with these challenges Higher Education Department KPK has started Government Girls Degree College Chitti Dheri Mansehra: The College was established in 2006; the college started its work under the umbrella of Ms Durdana Mufti. She was the founder Principal of the college. At the time of establishment the intermediate &amp;amp;amp;amp;&amp;amp;amp;nbsp;Degree classes were started both in Arts and Science disciplines. Girls hostel was available for distance area students. BS Program is started under her guidance Mrs. Samia Batool and progress day by day. Mrs. Shaheen Gul is the principal of college nowadays. She is very talented and has experience in her work. Government Girls Degree College Chitti Dheri is situated in one of the most beautiful and peaceful parts of Mansehra, a few minutes walk from Badra Chock we draw Students. From all parts of city and surrounding areas. From disciplines all parts of city and surrounding areas. We have well designed and spacious building, well lit lecture rooms ,one splendid hall for co circular activates, a fine library and Science block, and play ground. There is one hostel building for Intermediate and Degree Students. The emblem of the college has motto derived from the Holy Quran and injunction from Almighty Allah RABI ZIDNI ILMA O MY LORD INCREASE ME IN MY KNOWLEDGE. The Emblems has a book &amp;amp;amp;amp;&amp;amp;amp;nbsp;candle. This is clear proof of his excellence of Knowledge. Prophet (PBUH) requested Allah for increase in nothing except for increase in Knowledge. The emblem of college was approved in its present design by its faculty members. The college has a very devoted and enthusiastic faculty of teaching staff. They provide the college with highly academic environment and promote intellectual activities of the students.</p>
