Govt Degree College Booni Chitral

<p>&lt;p&gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;INTRODUCTION Government Degree College Booni was started in October, 1985 as a non-developmental scheme by the Government of KPK education Department to provide education to the students of belonging to the sub division Mastuj District Chitral up to Intermediate level. The college initially started its classes both in Science and Humanities in the premises of Government High School Booni.&amp;amp;amp;amp;nbsp; The offices of the college were located in another building provided by a local landlord Mr. Afzal Ali. The college building was a proved under special development program with effect from the financial year, 1986, 87 and site for the college was selected at Khandan Lasht on main Shandur Road on the right band of Mastuj river at a distance of 6 KM from booni to its west. The college was shifted to its newly constructed science block in 1990. Since then construction of academic block , Examination Hall , Administration Block , 50 students Hostel and a Bachelor Staff Hostel comprising of 12 units has been completed. The college has been upgraded to the degree level in 1999. Another hostel for 100 students has also been completed in all respect.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;</p>
